ROGER BURROWS

A keynote speaker and lecturer. Author “3D Thinking in Design and Architecture from Antiquity to the Future.” Developer of 3D geometries. Also runs ideation workshops.

Roger Burrows has spent many years developing 3D geometries for architectural, design, and art applications.

Roger is the author of, “3D Thinking in Design and Architecture from Antiquity to the Present,” published by Thames and Hudson Ltd, in 2018; the author of the Images Design series; co-author of the Altair Design series; co-author of the Crystal Cave with John Martineau, Sir Roger Penrose et al. Also the author of a number of academic papers, children’s books, and even a book co-authored with Frank Zappa. 

He is also the inventor of the Questron (sensor system), Magnix (printed magnetic technology) and Booktronics (computer solid state system) technologies.

Roger has lectured at many events worldwide, including the Bridges Conferences in Finland, Canada and Sweden; The Academy of Art University in San Francisco; the Utah Valley University in Orem; the National Association of Teachers of Mathematics at the University of Lancaster, England; the Architectural Association in London;  the Arts Council of Great Britain: the Leonardo Science and Technology Museum in Salt Lake City; the “Goods Shed Arts Center” in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, England; and the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London.

Roger established and ran the software and technology department for the Park City Center for Advanced Professional Studies initiative from 2013 to 2016.
